Developmental shifts can have growing pains, but stretching and stumbling are what give us character and bring us to the next building blocks in our lives.
Why does it feel sometimes like self care is self indulgent, self centered or selfish? I challenge that self care allows us the bandwidth to better care for the people and things we love. Can we reframe taking care of oneself, physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually as preventative care?
How do we find balance in the midst of this season? In the midst of the holidays, the winter weather and a pandemic? Finding balance can help propel us forward in times that can feel overwhelming. Let’s keep striving to find our balance and look to our community for the support we need.
